Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern business use of Beyond Ops. They do not govern an end customer's rental agreement with a rental business using the platform.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating, accessing, or using a Beyond Ops account, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you use Beyond Ops on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these terms on its behalf.
2. The Beyond Ops Service
Beyond Ops provides software and hosted tools intended to help rental businesses manage operations such as business settings, inventory availability, pricing, bookings, customers, delivery and pickup activity, payment-related workflows, and other rental operations.
Features may be added, changed, suspended, or discontinued as the service evolves.
3. Business Accounts
You must provide accurate and current account and business information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity that occurs through your account.
You must promptly notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
4. Your Rental Business
Beyond Ops is a software platform. You remain solely responsible for your rental business and your relationship with your customers, including:
- pricing and availability;
- rental terms and customer agreements;
- delivery and pickup;
- equipment condition and safety;
- refunds, cancellations, and disputes;
- taxes and regulatory obligations;
- customer support; and
- compliance with laws applicable to your business.
Beyond Ops is not the renter, lessor, seller, carrier, mover, or provider of the rental equipment offered by businesses using the platform.
5. Customer Information
When you use Beyond Ops to manage customers or bookings, you are responsible for having an appropriate legal basis to collect and use the information you enter into the service.
You must use customer information only for lawful business purposes and in accordance with applicable privacy and consumer protection laws.
6. Payments and Stripe
Beyond Ops may allow a rental business to connect a supported payment provider such as Stripe so the business can accept customer payments.
Payment processing services are provided by the applicable payment provider and may be subject to that provider's own terms, fees, verification requirements, restrictions, and policies. Beyond Ops does not guarantee approval of a payment account or the successful processing of any transaction.
Your rental business remains responsible for customer charges, refunds, disputes, chargebacks, taxes, and other payment-related obligations associated with its transactions.
7. Fees and Paid Services
If Beyond Ops introduces or offers paid plans, platform fees, or other paid services, the applicable price and billing terms will be presented before you agree to purchase or activate them.
Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, you remain responsible for applicable taxes and charges related to your account.
8. Acceptable Use
You may not use Beyond Ops to:
- violate applicable law;
- commit fraud or facilitate unlawful transactions;
- gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data;
- interfere with or disrupt the service;
- upload malicious code;
- misrepresent your identity or business;
- infringe intellectual property or privacy rights; or
- use the platform for abusive or deceptive activity.
9. Your Content and Data
You retain ownership of business information, customer data, and other content you provide to Beyond Ops.
You grant us the limited right to host, process, transmit, copy, and use that information as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, and improve the service.
10. Service Availability
We work to keep Beyond Ops available and reliable, but the service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, technical issues, internet failures, third-party services, or events outside our reasonable control.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
11. Third-Party Services
Beyond Ops may depend on third-party services including hosting, email delivery, mapping or location services, payment processors, and other technology providers.
Your use of those services may also be subject to their terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control.
12. Intellectual Property
Beyond Ops, its software, interface, branding, documentation, design, and related materials are owned by or licensed to the operator of Beyond Ops and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
These terms do not transfer ownership of the platform or its technology to you.
13. Suspension or Termination
We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, customers, payment systems, or the public; investigate suspected fraud or abuse; address security issues; comply with legal obligations; or enforce these terms.
You may stop using Beyond Ops at any time. Additional account closure or data-retention procedures may apply as the service develops.
14. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Beyond Ops is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
We do not guarantee that the service will meet every business requirement, produce any particular financial result, or prevent all errors, losses, fraud, or disputes.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator of Beyond Ops will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost business opportunities, or loss of data arising from use of or inability to use the service.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
16. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your rental business, your customer relationships, your violation of these terms, or your unlawful use of Beyond Ops.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service as Beyond Ops develops. The current version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
If a change materially affects existing users, we may provide additional notice when reasonably appropriate.
