Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes information processed through Beyond Ops. Individual rental businesses using Beyond Ops are also responsible for their own privacy practices regarding their customers.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect information that business owners and authorized users provide when creating or using a Beyond Ops account, including:

  • name and contact information;
  • business name and business contact information;
  • login email and account credentials;
  • service area and business location information;
  • inventory and pricing settings;
  • account configuration and operational settings; and
  • communications with support.

2. Rental Customer and Booking Data

Businesses using Beyond Ops may enter or collect information about their own rental customers through the platform. Depending on how a business uses Beyond Ops, this information may include:

  • customer name;
  • email address;
  • telephone number;
  • delivery or pickup address;
  • rental dates;
  • booking and equipment details;
  • transaction or payment status information;
  • delivery, pickup, proof, or operational records; and
  • notes entered by the rental business.

The rental business is responsible for determining why and how it collects and uses its customers' personal information. Beyond Ops processes that information to provide the platform and related services.

3. Payment Information

Beyond Ops may integrate with payment processors such as Stripe. Payment card information is generally submitted directly to the payment processor rather than stored as complete card numbers by Beyond Ops.

We may receive limited payment-related information such as payment status, transaction identifiers, connected account status, amounts, or other information necessary to support payment workflows.

4. Automatically Collected Information

When you access Beyond Ops, our systems or service providers may automatically receive technical information such as:

  • IP address;
  • browser and device information;
  • date and time of requests;
  • pages or features accessed;
  • security and authentication events; and
  • error and diagnostic information.

Some security systems may store hashed or otherwise transformed identifiers instead of raw values where appropriate.

5. Cookies and Sessions

Beyond Ops uses cookies and similar browser technologies as needed to maintain authenticated sessions, protect accounts, remember preferences, and support operation of the service.

Your browser may allow you to block or delete cookies, although doing so may prevent portions of Beyond Ops from functioning properly.

6. How We Use Information

We may use information to:

  • create and administer accounts;
  • provide the Beyond Ops service;
  • process and manage rental operations;
  • authenticate users and verify email addresses;
  • prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access;
  • process or support payment-related workflows;

  • respond to support requests;
  • maintain and improve reliability and security;
  • diagnose technical problems; and
  • comply with legal obligations.

7. How We Share Information

We may share information with service providers that help operate Beyond Ops, such as hosting, infrastructure, email, payment, security, analytics, and other technology providers.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to:

  • comply with law or legal process;
  • protect rights, safety, or property;
  • investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents; or
  • complete a business transfer, merger, acquisition, or similar transaction.

We do not sell personal information in exchange for money.

8. Stripe and Other Third Parties

When a business connects Stripe or another third-party service, information may be exchanged with that provider as necessary to provide the requested integration.

Third-party providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

9. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain business and security records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the reason it is maintained.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information and accounts.

No internet service, storage system, or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

11. Business Responsibilities

Rental businesses using Beyond Ops are responsible for their own privacy notices, customer communications, consent requirements, data collection practices, and compliance obligations.

If you are a rental customer with a question about a booking, rental, delivery, or information collected by a particular rental business, you should contact that rental business directly.

12. Your Choices

Business account users may update certain business and account information through Beyond Ops.

You may also contact us regarding questions about access, correction, or deletion of information associated with your Beyond Ops account. Some information may need to be retained for legal, security, accounting, or legitimate business purposes.
